Top best answers to the question «Is there glass in chewing tobacco»

  • A: Chewing tobacco has glass in it yes. Just little slivers of it though. It is meant to make tiny cuts in the gums/inside of your lip, so that nicotine can enter your blood faster. I don't believe ALL brands have the slivers of glass in it, but Copenhagen does.

Is chewing tobacco worse than smoking tobacco?

  • It has been time and gains scientifically proved that chewing tobacco is not a safe or a better alternative to smoking, and that it is as harmful to health as smoking. Whether it is smoking a cigarette or chewing tobacco, both of them is an addiction and very difficult to quit. Both these contain nicotine.
